Football Player Beats Referee Black and Blue After Being Shown Red Card (Photos/Video)

It was a ‘Zidane’ moment on the football pitch on Sunday August 7 when Guatemalan division 3 player Daniel Pedrosa beat up the referee in the match between Deportivo Chicacao and Obereños.

Reports say he should expect a lengthy ban from the Guatemalan Football Association for his unruly behavior.
Pedrosa unknowingly bumped into the referee near the halfway line while playing and the referee who did not find it funny immediately dished out a red card to the midfielder.


But the player who felt angry over this too, immediately headbutted and punched the referee with his fists before he was stopped by his fellow team mates.
